Strategic planning is a disciplined effort to produce fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide what a school
does, and why it does it, with a focus on the future.
The purpose of this planning is to create a shared picture of the future direction of the school based on a clear mission, goals and objectives. The process focuses the energy of the school on defining its desired outcomes, establishing priorities to reach these objectives, ensuring that all parts of the school are working toward the same goals and regularly re-evaluating and refining itself in response to changing external and internal environments.
