Athletics & Activities

Al-Bayan Bilingual School (BBS) is not only a leader in the academics but also in extra-curricular activities.

BBS activities & athletics program has established a strong regional reputation for excellence and sportsmanship. It is
our belief that participation in these programs is an integral component of a student’s holistic development.

The after-school clubs program in the Elementary school, middle school clubs, and intramurals offer diverse activities
such as art, cooking, climbing, fitness, yoga, and recreational games. In addition, students participate annually in programs
such as: Speech & Debate, National Honors Society (NHS), National Junior Honors Society (NJHS), Student Council, Model
United Nations (MUN), Academic Games, Robotics, and more.

BBS is a member of the United School Association of Kuwait (USAK) sports conference in which BBS teams compete with
other Kuwait member schools. The Al-Bayan Bilingual School is also a founding member of Oasis Activities Conference
(OAC). Our JV and varsity teams travel around the region to compete against other OAC member schools based in Bahrain,
United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Participation in OAC presents BBS students with the wonderful
opportunity to compete across the Middle East, experience other cultures, and learn about different societies.

BBS also has the Intramural Sports Program and Interscholastic Sports Program for Middle School students.
