SCHOOL DIVISION
The Preschool
(KG1 & KG2)
At our preschool, we provide a balanced approach to early education with instruction in both English and Arabic. Our
program is designed to support the development of the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
We place a strong emphasis on social skills, oral language development, motor coordination, critical thinking, and overall
well-being. Through a nurturing and stimulating environment, we help children grow into confident, curious, and capable
learners.
Our curriculum follows the AERO (American Education Reaches Out) standards and is delivered through the Reggio
Emilia approach, which places the child at the center of the learning experience. Through inquiry-based learning and
hands-on exploration, children are encouraged to ask questions, investigate, and make meaningful connections as they
discover the world around them. To support early literacy, we use the UFLI phonics program, which provides engaging
and fun instruction that builds strong reading and literacy skills
Children benefit from balanced instruction throughout the day in both English and Arabic classrooms, giving them School Hours

Field Trips
Field trips are an essential part of the educational program.
They provide reinforcement of what is taught in the
classroom. Field experiences are scheduled throughout
the year and vary annually by grade.
Counseling Services
There is a comprehensive counseling program for children
in Preschool. Services include individual counseling for
children and their parents in addition to referral services.
Students are also taught Protect Ed lessons by the
counselor.
Health Services
The school clinic provides first aid to students. Health
services are provided by a registered nurse, including the
screening of vision, and periodic measuring of weight and
height. The nurse also coordinates immunization services
with the Ministry of Health as needed.
