Certified with a degree in Elementary General Science Education or closely related
Two or more years of experience teaching the subject at the Elementary School level

The Learning Support Specialist (LSS) is responsible for facilitating the academic and personal growth of students within the school. The Learning Support Specialist will provide a well-rounded student-centered educational program that meets the student’s needs and builds on areas of difficulty. Specialists will also contribute to school duty and other school programs as required by school policy and/or contractual obligations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, with Special Education background
4+ years of experience working with high school students offering academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support
6+ years of experience as an educator, preferably at the High School level for English subjects
Fluent English speaker
Able to offer support, advice, and a variety of learning strategies to teachers
