Professional Experience and Affiliations:
Mr. Tariq Alsamerraie has been involved with BBS since he was a student at the school upon its establishment in 1977. In 1996 he obtained his university degree in Finance & Marketing from Boston University in Massachusetts. After that he joined the Treasury Department at the National Bank of Kuwait where he built a career in banking for eight years. He also worked in the real estate development and investment sectors. Mr. Alsamerraie is a member of Kuwait Financial Markets Association and obtained the ACI Dealing Certification with distinction.
Mr. Alsamerraie who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of FAWSEC has been a driving force behind the growth of FAWSEC and its subsidiaries, Al-Bayan Bilingual School, Fawzia Sultan International School, and Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute. This includes the construction project of the BBS campus in Hawalli, the renovation of the BBS Nursery in Jabriya, and currently the construction of the new FAWSEC staff compound in Sabah Al-Salem area. In addition to running the daily activities of FAWSEC, Mr. Alsamerraie is also working closely with the company owners and board members to carry out the various expansion plans for FAWSEC and its subsidiaries over the next five years.
Mr. Alsamerraie is also involved with Al-Bayan Bilingual School as the parent of two students at the school. In addition, he is involved with the community as the co-founder and member of Al Bayan Alumni Association as well co-founder and ex-member of Fawzia Sultan International School PTA.
