ES Food Drive - جمع تبرعات غذائية

Dear All,

Each year in BBS-ES, we have conducted a food drive to assist our cleaning workers over the summer months. This project started as a single grade level community service project but has expanded to all the grades in ES. This year, we invite all who wish to participate to do so.

We would like to collect non-expired dried goods such as pasta, beans, rice, lentils, sugar, coffee, tea, salt, etc. and canned foods such as peas, beans, corn, tomato sauce, canned fruits, tuna and the like. Cooking oil and powdered milk are also very welcome items. Additional types of items, such as bar soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, and shampoo would be equally appreciated. We are trying to keep this to healthy types of food, rather than chips or chocolate.

We are unable to accept things which are frozen or which might spoil quickly, items which are expired or past their “best use” date, or any items requiring refrigeration.

Our food drive will last for two weeks, from the 21^st of April through the 5^th of May. Please invite students to participate and help us to show the cleaning workers that we care. Additional instructions will be forthcoming. All food will be divided equally between the elementary cleaning workers. We invite you to participate in any way that you can.
